What to Expect
We take time to understand your full history, previous treatments, triggers, lifestyle, and how symptoms are affecting your life.
We assess the upper neck, nervous system, and other relevant areas based on your presentation.
We explain what we found and what we believe may be contributing to your symptoms.
You leave with a clear plan tailored to your situation, not a generic recommendation.
Good to Know
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed. You can book directly online. If you have been referred by a GP or specialist, bring any relevant letters or reports with you.
Good to Know
What if I don’t have a headache on the day?
That’s fine. We don’t need you to be in active pain to assess what may be contributing. In many cases it’s easier to assess when you’re not mid-episode.
Good to Know
Can I claim on private health?
If you have extras cover for osteopathy or physiotherapy, you may be able to claim part of your consultation fee. Check with your provider before your appointment.
Good to Know
What should I bring?
Any previous scan results, specialist letters, or medication lists are helpful. The more history you can share, the more thorough the assessment.
Common Questions
Questions people ask before booking their first appointment.
The initial consultation runs for approximately 60 minutes. This allows enough time for a thorough discussion, assessment, and where appropriate, some treatment on the day.
Choose whichever is easiest for you to get to. All three locations follow the same Melbourne Migraine Protocol assessment process, so the quality of care is consistent regardless of where you book.
Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or change your appointment. You can contact the clinic directly by phone or manage your booking through the confirmation email you receive after booking.

That depends on your situation. Some people notice changes quickly. Others with long-standing or complex symptoms require a longer process. After your first appointment, your practitioner will give you a clear idea of what to expect going forward.
